Home Health RN Job Details

• Position Title: Travel Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
• Location: Gallatin, TN 37066 (Greater Nashville area)
• Healthcare Setting: Home Health
• Start Date: 9/8/2025 or 9/15/2025
• Contract Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Shifts per Week: 5 (Monday–Friday)
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40 (36 guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,142 – $2,380
• On-Call Pay: $6.00/hr
• Mileage reimbursement provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state for travel nurses)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Home Health Registered Nurse
• Proficiency with OASIS and HCHB (Homecare Homebase) documentation
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring high-quality and compassionate clinical support
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans using OASIS and HCHB
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
