Human Resources Business Partner
LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a global consumer goods company seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. This role will partner closely with business leaders to drive people strategies that align with operational goals, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performing employee culture.
Responsibilities:
Oversee HR support for a client group of 400+ employees, including exempt, non-exempt, hourly, and salaried populations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, and workforce effectiveness.
Partner with operations and functional leaders to align HR initiatives with business priorities and manufacturing objectives.
Analyze workforce trends, turnover, engagement, and talent metrics to recommend solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Lead talent review, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
Identify skill gaps and partner with leaders to implement training and development programs.
Support internal mobility and career pathing strategies to retain and grow top talent.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance coaching.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with deep expertise in California labor laws , wage and hour regulations, leave laws, and workplace policies.
Mitigate organizational risk through sound judgment and proactive employee relations practices.
Lead engagement strategies that strengthen employee experience, inclusion, retention, and morale.
Partner with leaders to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and recognition.
Support change management and communication strategies during organizational changes.
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Learning teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Support workforce planning in a manufacturing environment including shift-based populations and labor needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders.
Experience supporting a population of at least 400 employees in a multi-state capacity required.
Deep knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements.
Demonstrated success driving strategic HR initiatives across talent, engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness.
Strong employee relations background with experience conducting investigations and resolving complex workplace issues.
Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Dayforce preferred.
Key Details:
Compensation: $100k- 130k base & eligibility to earn 10% bonus
Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401k match
Location: Salt Lake City, UT, 3 days on-site, 2 days remote + 25% travel
