Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance job family. This role requires applying acquired job skills along with company policies and procedures to effectively complete assigned tasks. You will be working on semi-routine assignments and occasionally deviate from accepted practices to solve complex problems. Collaboration is key as you will typically follow established procedures for routine work while receiving instructions for new assignments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and manage breakdowns of production equipment.
• Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as necessary.
• Fabricate necessary machine parts and assemble machines as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance technician skills.
• Mechanical maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in fabrication and repair of metal parts.
• Industrial maintenance skills including welding, repair, and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of mechanical and electrical experience preferred (60/40 mechanical).
• Experience in metals preferred.
• Knowledge of basic welding and cutting procedures.
• Competence in using machinist measurement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically.
• Capability to overcome obstacles and complete assignments promptly.
• Positive attitude, good judgment, excellent time management skills, and strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. You will be working with various machines including conveyors, screw machines, presses, and cold headers in a dynamic industrial setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
