Description

• Operate various hand tools and woodworking machines, such as routers, edge banders, jointers, table saws, and wall saws, to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets.
• Apply laminate to cabinets and other wood surfaces.
• Participate in job setup and sequencing.
• Correctly read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Mark outlines or dimensions of parts according to specifications.
• Match materials for color, grain, or texture.
• Bore holes for screws or dowels, either manually or using a boring machine.
• Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies to form complete units.
• Sand and scrape surfaces and joints to prepare articles for finishing.
• Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
• Fabrication and edge router experience.
• Proficient in blueprint and drawing interpretation.
• Experience in setup and operation of machines.
• Installation skills and hand tool proficiency.
• Carpentry, woodworking, and power tool experience.
• Cabinet making and table saw operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
