Lead Bartender

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. This role requires speed, accuracy, professionalism, sales awareness, and strong guest engagement. Bartenders at Wicker64 are expected to do more than make drinks. They help create the vibe, drive the guest experience, and support the overall flow of service. The bar is a major driver of revenue and guest experience, and bartenders are expected to work with speed, accuracy, cleanliness, sales awareness, and professionalism every shift.
This is not a bar-only position . Bartenders are expected to support the floor and take tables as needed . Because cross-training may be required to support operational stability, candidates must be comfortable stepping into full-service hospitality when business needs require it. That includes greeting guests warmly, guiding food and beverage orders, maintaining table awareness, checking back appropriately, and closing checks accurately through the POS.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 2 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
• Comfortable taking tables in addition to bartending
• Strong cocktail, beer, spirits, and guest service knowledge
• Positive attitude, urgency, professionalism, and teamwork
• Reliable attendance and strong communication
• Ability to stay organized and accurate under pressure
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required
• BASSET certification required for team members who check IDs, serve alcohol, sell alcohol, or control entry

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare drinks accurately and maintain bar cleanliness
• Ring all transactions into the POS accurately and manage assigned drawer responsibly
• Upsell beverages, food items, specials, and upcoming events naturally
• Greet guests quickly and maintain positive, attentive energy
• Maintain ice, glassware, garnishes, and overall bar readiness
• Follow standard pour sizes, proper glassware, and presentation standards
• Monitor guest intoxication and escalate concerns promptly
• Check valid, unexpired government-issued ID for guests who appear under 35
• Support the floor by taking tables as needed and helping deliver a smooth guest experience
• Complete opening, sidework, and closing responsibilities with consistency
