The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all food is cooked and presented to the highest quality and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage and coordinate kitchen operations effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Handle special dietary requirements and accommodate customer requests when possible.
- Assist in menu planning and development, including suggesting new recipes and seasonal items.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
