Human Resources Generalist (FT)
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.
- Prepares new employee offer letters, new hire packages, and completes new hire orientations.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.
- Maintain HR documentation, including employee files and records.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts.
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure the fair and consistent administration of Company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and communication of HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal compliance.
- Assist with the performance management cycle, including performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide coaching and training to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Maintain performance documentation and records.
- Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, training, and development programs.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in HR-related audits and compliance efforts.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Completion of Undergraduate University Degree, Community College Diploma or equivalent Human Resources experience;
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and administration abilities.
- Exceptional professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in PC-based applications, including MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Ability to adapt, learn, and collaborate effectively.
- Passion for growth and teamwork.
- Self-motivated, positive, and detail-oriented.
- Flexible, creative, and caring attitude.
- Strong work ethic, prioritization skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an asset but not required.
