RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary function of this position is to procure merchandise (soft goods, apparel, gift items and school supplies) for resale at the Western Illinois University Bookstore. This individual looks for opportunities to grow sales through emerging trends, collaborations with others (both on-campus and off-campus), and opportunities with vendors that promote and put Western Illinois University in the forefront. Additionally, this position provides informational and support services to faculty, staff, students and guests of the University Union Hotel and the University Service Center.
WORK LOCATION: Macomb Campus
APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible
HOURLY WAGE: $20.67-$22.73 (anticipated starting salary of $20.67)
This position is represented by AFSCME Local 417.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year (12 months) of experience in a retail environment.
For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). The degree must be conferred at the time of application.
