About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Controller to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and a proactive mindset, looking to grow within a dynamic and evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Coordinate and assist with external audits and tax filings
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Manage job costing process, and work with Project Managers to review profitability of projects
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting and administrative staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing
- Exposure to ERP systems and process automation tools
- CPA is a plus
