About the Role: As a Dietary Aide at High Point Residence Wood River, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and adhering to all food safety regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success of our dietary team. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and individual resident needs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and ensure proper storage and handling of food
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure a positive dining experience

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your skills in food preparation, kitchen organization, and communication to provide high-quality dining services to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner, while also maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
