Assurance Senior with SEC Focus

Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, accounting errors and irregularities or noncompliance with laws and regulations. Prepare audit reports, examine financial record, and inspect account books to ensure clients' compliance with SEC regulations. Perform research on complex SEC matters. Manage client engagements, budgets and relations. Conduct trainings and oversee subordinates. This position may supervise 2- 4 subordinate employees (Staff) Requirements: Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related field and at least two (2) years of related experience as an auditor at public accounting firms before joining Marcum; OR Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field and five (5) years of related experience as an auditor at public accounting firms before joining Marcum. Must have demonstrated experience with GAAP, auditing/tax standards and client managements, and displayed strong communication, research and writing skills. Must have or eligible for U.S. CPA license.
