What You Will Do
This is an entry-level engineering role designed for recent graduates who are eager to apply their education in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with mentorship and rapid skill development.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to gain exposure to automation systems, machine vision, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
Develop one-of-a-kind automation machines for the fiber optic industry utilizing machine vision, precision motion control, and creative design.
Run tests, troubleshoot machines, improve documentation of existing solutions, support deployed machines, and create electrical schematics
Design parts in SolidWorks, prototype physical parts, and troubleshoot machines in development and on the production floor
What You Will Bring
- BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering / motion controls / robotics / automation
- Mechanical and hardware design experience:
- SolidWorks CAD and PDM knowledge
- Rapid prototyping using 3D printing, machining, and injection molding
- Software Experience:
- Lighting control and design, camera and lens selection, Camera calibration, and basic optics principles
- Exposure to PLCs and machine learning and/or vision systems
- Python software development
- Electrical Skills:
- Electrical troubleshooting using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Development and interpretation of wiring schematics
- Cable routing and management best practices
- Familiarity with grounding, shielding, and noise mitigation techniques
- Ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn. The ability to learn quickly and continuously while maintaining a flexible mindset is necessary for a fast-paced environment.

- Mechanical handiness and exposure to multiple disciplines of engineering
