Job Title: Server Assistant

Job Overview: We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Server Assistant to support our service team and enhance the overall dining experience. As a Server Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the dining room and service areas, while assisting with guest interactions and back-of-house tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Interaction:
• Provide attentive water and bread service to guests if applicable.
• Assist servers in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Answer guest questions
• Accommodate guest requests
• Dining Room Maintenance:
• Clear, bus, and reset tables promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure the dining area remains clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Back-of-House Support:
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, including the kitchen and service stations.
• Handle dishware, utensils, and glassware with care to ensure a steady supply for the dining room.
• General Maintenance:
• Remove trash, sweep, mop, and handle other general cleaning tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as changing lightbulbs or organizing storage spaces.
• Bar Assistance:
• Support bartenders by preparing, fetching, and storing backup supplies.
• Ensure ice bins, soda tanks, and beer kegs are filled and the bar area is clean and organized.
• Safety & Sanitation:
• Comply with all safety and sanitation requirements to maintain a healthy work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and climb ladders or stairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Possess or be willing to obtain ServSafe and BASSET certifications before the employment start date.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Open to feedback and dedicated to improving skills and teamwork.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
