Our law firm client is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join its growing practice in Evanston, IL . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated real estate transactions and wants meaningful client interaction in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of commercial real estate transactions , including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and related transactional agreements
• Conduct legal due diligence, title and survey review, and assist with deal structuring and closing processes
• Advise clients on real estate investments, transactions, and risk management strategies
• Work directly with clients, lenders, brokers, and opposing counsel to efficiently manage transactions from start to finish
• Collaborate with internal attorneys on complex transactional matters as needed

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar license in Illinois
• 2+ years of real estate transactional experience at a law firm
• Experience handling commercial real estate transactions , including drafting and negotiating agreements
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $180,000 annually . xrczosw Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
