Precision starts with you. As a CNC Operator at MacLean-Fogg’s Mount Carroll facility, you’ll operate advanced CNC equipment to create high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. This hands-on role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to build or grow a career in manufacturing.

• Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
• Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00/hour (based on skills and experience)
• Shift Premium: +$2.00/hour for 2nd Shift
• Work Location: 905 S Jackson St, Mount Carroll, IL 61053
• Reports To: Production Supervisor

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications
• Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements through inspection and measurement
• Perform minor troubleshooting and make routine equipment adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Maintain accurate documentation and production records
• Keep work area clean and organized following 5S standards
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support team and production goals

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset
• Basic computer and math skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
• Demonstrated stable work history with minimal employment gaps
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Required to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending and stooping required.
• Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments.
