COBOL Programmer (W2 ONLY And BCBS Experience Required)

BCBS is searching for a COBOL Programmer Analyst for a remote contract.

***All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis and no sponsorship is available***

***All candidates must have experience working with BCBS applications***

Required Experience:

• BCBS applications/integrations: ITS
• Recent ITS experience (version 10.0 or newer; within the last 5 years preferred)
• Strong mainframe COBOL development experience
• Understanding of the BlueCard program (Host & Home models, ITS/Blue2 interaction)

Preferred / Additional Skills:

• BlueCard Modernization experience
• Familiarity with ANSI claim transactions (837, 835, 276, 277)
• SCLM (IBM Software Configuration & Library Manager)
• DB2, AQT, MQ
• Experience with on-prem ITS databases (non-PlanConnexion environments)
• BMC Control-M/R (mainframe scheduler)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
