Manufacturing Technician

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a healthcare technology manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This individual will play a hands-on role in producing high-quality medical and healthcare technology products in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting where quality and compliance matter.

Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and package healthcare technology products in accordance with documented work instructions and quality standards.

• Operate manufacturing equipment and tools while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• Perform in-process inspections and basic functional testing to ensure product quality and compliance.

• Accurately complete production documentation, batch records, and electronic manufacturing records (EMR).

• Identify and report defects, deviations, or equipment issues to supervisors and quality teams.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, quality, and process optimization.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with GMP and ISO standards.

Manufacturing Technician Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly role (medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred).

• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Comfortable working in a regulated environment with strict documentation requirements.

• Basic computer skills and experience using manufacturing or inventory systems.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.

This is a contract-to-hire position . The pay range is $24–$30 per hour , depending on experience, and the role offers medical, dental, and vision insurance . This position is fully onsite at the company’s manufacturing facility in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago.
