Staffmax is currently recruiting a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant for a growing consulting company in Chicago. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, supporting a professional team, and handling a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to consultants and management
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
Prepare, format, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations
Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional manner
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
Assist with data entry, expense tracking, and basic invoicing
Order office supplies and liaise with vendors as needed
Support special projects and general office operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
