As an Electrician , you’ll be essential to keeping our production equipment running safely and efficiently, helping us deliver the delicious baked goods that families across the country love.

Location: 2035 N Narragansett Ave, Chicago, IL 60639.

Shift: All Shifts | 100% On-Site | Flexibility Required

Pay Rate: $38-$44/hour

What You’ll Do

· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, PLCs, and control systems.

· Support PLC systems: backup and restore Allen-Bradley and Schneider programs.

· Troubleshoot Ethernet networks and device IPs.

· Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

· Provide electrical expertise on capital projects and equipment upgrades.

· Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for diagnostics and repairs.

· Perform preventative maintenance on power systems and air compressors.

· Uphold and promote safety in all tasks and environments.

Requirements:

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial electrical role

· 2+ years of PLC experience

· Ability to troubleshoot equipment for performance and product quality

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· PC skills, including Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

· Technical or vocational training in industrial engineering

· Safety training and experience with industrial electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

· Welding or mechanical coursework is a plus

Physical & Work Environment

· Work in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing setting

· Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with help

· Work at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying temperatures

· Use PPE including safety glasses, bump caps, and hearing protection

· Regular use of hand tools and computers for data entry
