Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both facility and production equipment. This role covers a wide range of electrical and mechanical work, supporting the company’s operational goals through safe, preventive, and predictive maintenance practices.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

• Job stability
• Minimum 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLC-controlled equipment
• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems
• Experience working in a production environment supporting day-to-day operations
• Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Must have hands-on plant maintenance experience
• Commercial electrical experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

• Install, service, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns during production and carry out scheduled maintenance during planned service times.
• Take ownership of designated machine components and collaborate with the maintenance team on plant-wide repairs and preventive tasks.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, plumbing, and control systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders to complete service tasks.
• Diagnose equipment issues, repair or replace defective parts, and verify proper operation through testing and adjustments.
• Work with PLCs and VFDs (Siemens S7/TIA Portal preferred; Allen Bradley VFD experience is also valued).

1st shift: 6AM - 4PM Monday through Thursday. DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $37.00 - $42.00 an hour, based on experience
