CT Technologist - PRN (Alton)

BJC HealthCare is now hiring a PRN CT Technologist at our Alton Memorial Hospital location.

Position Details :

• PRN Schedule
• 2 Shifts Every 6 Weeks
• Days, Nights, or Weekends
• 6:30 a.m to 7:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Non-Benefits Eligible
• Willing to train in CT!

Alton Memorial has Two 64-slice CT scanners, one with fluoroscopy capabilities. This leading technology allows for faster scan times and less radiation dose to the patient while maintaining image quality. The CT Department prides itself on being able to offer quality care Close to Home.

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
