Job Title: Forecast Planning Analyst

Job Description

As a Forecast Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support effective supply chain planning.

Essential Skills

• 1-2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Finance, or a relevant field.

• Experience with forecasting/statistical tools or software

• Proficiency in ERP systems and MRP modules.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling, and macros.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a relevant field. (Preferred not required.)

Responsibilities

• Determine ideal forecasting model using scenario analysis and advanced tools.

• Champion process improvements, cost savings opportunities, and best practices.

• Facilitate consensus building in forecast review meetings.

• Develop and enhance tools and processes around forecasting, planning, and inventory management.

• Create procedures and work instructions.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, and inventory.

• Manage special projects.

• Provide financial analysis when requested.

• Provide data analysis and reporting.

• Review product forecasts and trends, making suggestions to modify forecasts.

• Generate statistical forecasts using available tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake in the Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
