At Collective Balance Counseling , we blend creativity and cognition to help clients heal and communities thrive. Since 2019, our small, privately owned practice has provided compassionate, high-quality mental health care to individuals, couples, and families across all life stages.

We are currently seeking a licensed therapist who is especially passionate about working with older adults and senior populations . This role is ideal for clinicians who understand the unique mental health needs of aging individuals, including grief, life transitions, isolation, cognitive changes, caregiving dynamics, and chronic illness.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: $57,000–$75,000 per year (commensurate with experience and caseload)

• Schedule: Flexible

• Day shift

• Evening hours

• One weekend day available

• Client Focus: Older adults (with the option to also see clients across other age groups)

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field (Required)

• License (IL): Must hold one of the following:

• LCSW

• LCPC

• LMFT

• ATR-BC

• LSW

• LCP

Experience:

• Must be comfortable and experienced working with older adults and aging-related issues

• Knowledge of issues like dementia, caregiving stress, end-of-life planning, and Medicare a plus
