Position Purpose:

The Meiborg Companies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the accounting department and ensuring all revenue is accurately billed each month by getting to know customers to communicate & deliver to our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities :

• Must maintain professionalism and provide courteous, helpful, and prompt attention to all parties with which they interact
• Responsible for data entry
• Must manage time to meet deadlines
• Generate & process accurate & timely invoices for warehouse services provided
• Reconcile billing statements and ensure all charges are accounted for
• Address customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service support
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies ensuring customer satisfaction
• Assist in maintaining accurate billing records and documentation
• Work closely with the finance department to ensure timely payment collections
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations is a plus

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in billing, accounting, or customer service roles
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of transportation industry preferred
• Ability to transfer knowledge
• Above average writing skills and organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to take direction from managers
