The Mental Health Medical Biller would be responsible for accurately preparing, submitting, and following up on insurance claims. Posting payments as they come in and following up on any delayed or denied payments on a daily basis. This role ensures timely reimbursement by managing claims, verifying insurance benefits, resolving denials, and maintaining patient billing records in compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements. The biller must be able to provide quality customer service to patients and payers when coverage and/or questions arise, set up payment plans, work collections, and all other duties as assigned. Hourly compensation varies based on experience.
