Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Science Endorsement for Middle Grades (5-8 or 6-9)
- Previous teaching experience in general education and science strongly preferred
- Adept at designing inclusive and stimulating lesson plans
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum goals
- Adapt instruction to diverse student abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Participate actively in school meetings, professional development, and special events
