CNC Router Operator: Loves Park, Illinois

Our client in Loves Park, Illinois is a growing company committed to delivering precision-engineered components and outstanding service. They are currently seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator to join their 3rd shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with CNC machining experience to thrive in a clean, organized, and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the CNC Router Operator:

• Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speed, and depth of cut.
• Determine the proper sequence of operations for machining processes.
• Select, position, and secure tools in tool holders (chuck, collet, or tool post).
• Secure workpieces using appropriate holding devices such as chucks, centers, machine tables, or fixtures.
• Utilize CNC equipment to correctly position tools and workpieces in relation to each other.
• Set specified machine feeds, speeds, and depth of cut according to production requirements.
• Monitor machine operation during production and verify that finished workpieces meet required specifications using measuring tools and visual inspections.

CNC Router Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in producing parts using CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical job orders.
• Experience with standard fabrication and warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with the production team as needed.

Pay for CNC Router Operator: $19.00 – $26.00/hour (based on experience)
