Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract opportunity in Bridgeport, Connecticut! This position offers flexibility, a supportive district environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students across K–12 grade levels.

Job Details

Location: Bridgeport, CT
Schedule: 32.5 hours per week (6.5 hours/day)
Employment Type: Contract (School-Based SLP)
Flexibility: Part-time candidates will be considered

Caseload & Responsibilities

Serve students across K–12 grade levels
Caseload is assigned upon clearance/start and may involve district-wide placement
Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Support students with articulation, language delays, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
Additional role details discussed during the interview process

Qualifications

Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
CCC-SLP preferred, Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
