CNC Machinist — Setup & Production Specialist (Fanuc/OSP/Haas)

Step into a day on our machining floor

You clock in at 7:30 AM, power up your station, and review the job travelers. Your first move is a clean setup: verify tooling, load programs, dial in offsets, and run first-article checks. With Fanuc, OSP, or Haas controls at your fingertips, you bring the spindle to life and watch precise chips fall as parts take shape.

Throughout the day, you inspect and deburr each part to our quality standards, making adjustments as needed. If a machine anomaly pops up, you dig in to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs, keeping production on track. You complete routine PM tasks, contribute ideas to SMED and Kaizen activities, and leave the area clean, organized, and safe before the 4:00 PM wrap-up.

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC equipment using standard work, ensuring accurate offsets, tooling, and programs
• Inspect, measure, and deburr parts for consistent, high-quality results
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot machine abnormalities; address spindle, motor, or turret issues
• Drive continuous improvement via SMED, Kaizen, and structured problem solving
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation

What you bring

• 3+ years operating or maintaining CNC machines
• Hands-on experience with OSP, Fanuc, or Haas controls
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read and interpret blueprints
• Background troubleshooting and repairing CNC components like spindles, motors, and turrets
• Comfort lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Nice to have: knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Preferred: exposure to Fanuc robots, simple fabrication, or welding

Schedule and compensation

• 1st Shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Starting pay: $26.00 per hour
• $1,000 sign-on bonus once hired on
