Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP is seeking a Law Firm Administrator who will manage the firm's daily business and human resource operations, as well as coordinate with other managers and staff in support of the firm's busy civil litigation practice. The position is flexible, with a combination of remote and in-office presence. The successful candidate must have experience in day-to-day law firm administration, or commensurate office administration, including but not limited to payroll, 401(k) and benefit administration, human resources management, and facilities management. The position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the office in conjunction with the Partners and the Finance Administrator, including managing the firm's physical space and oversight of non-attorney, non-managerial staff and functions
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the firm's business and human resource operations
  • Maintains a close working relationship and daily coordination with the Finance Administrator, IT/Network Manager and Billing Coordinator
  • Performs Human Resource functions including recruiting, onboarding, and supervision of support staff, onboarding of legal staff, insurance and retirement benefit administration for all employees, payroll management and processing, PTO tracking, personnel file management according to applicable federal and state laws and firm procedures
  • Assists the partnership in recommending, drafting and implementation of personnel policies
  • Serves as coordinator for the firm's visitor policies
  • Coordinates with the partners, third party vendors and staff to create and implement marketing strategies and efforts

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Five years of experience as a firm administrator, law firm or professional services preferred
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Committed to following all Firm confidentiality protocols
  • Successful completion of criminal background and credit check
