Role Description

This is a full-time, fully on-site role located in Chicago, IL for a Business Development Representative within our commercial sector.

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing growth strategies, and ensuring company objectives are met. The role also involves negotiating contracts, event planning, and collaborating with the marketing team to implement business strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2-3 years of professional working experience
• HVAC experience not required for this role
• Great at time management
• Must be detail oriented and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and digital communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Account management with current client book
• Responsible for gaining new clients and leads
• Will work with warm leads and new leads
• Working solely with our commercial sector
• Communicating with project managers and engineers daily
• Organize daily schedule for technicians
• Learning about the services we provide and how they are completed
• Working through the entire sales process from gaining the lead and seeing it through to job completed
• Planning events and creating presentations for potential customers
• Being able to track and read reports
