Our Digital Technology & Distribution (DTD) segment is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to support hiring for our commercial student & graduate programs with a focus on commercial functional full-time positions across Caterpillar segments in the Americas.

The commercial function encompasses Marketing Sales and Product Support roles within Caterpillar including for the Field Rep Development Program (internally known as the MTC). In this role you will collaborate and partner with our Commercial Students & Graduates Recruiter for commercial internship roles to execute our long-term strategy to recruit top talent internally or from college s/universiti es into Caterpillar.

This person will also promote and support Caterpillars recruitment brand across schools and various community events with a focus on partnering with the commercial talent management organization and our internship program execution to convert talent into our full-time program s a nd roles throughout the Enterprise . With a focus on strong university relationships intern conversions & best in class programs you will strategically build the future talent for the commercial function at Caterpillar.

What You Will Do:

• Manage recruitment cycle from hello to hire by executing hiring for functional student and graduate talent roles based on yearly allocations including recruiting interviewing making offers onboarding and communicating orientation and start date plans for new employees.

• Partner and consult with hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization leveraging data to drive decision-making.

• Join forces with our Commercial Students & Graduates Recruiter for internship commercial roles on a best-in-class agile university relations strategy & engagement plan to ensure white glove recruitment of the right talent for our commercial student & graduate positions now and in the future .

• Lead university recruiting teams at identified strategic campuses and clubs to ensure execution of the functional recruitment strategy.

• Execute in partnership with broader global DTD students and graduates talent team the commercial internship program to continue to best meet the needs of the business.

• Review trend analysis and utilize data for continuous program & recruitment improvement.

• Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and industry-leading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles.

• Contribute towards broader recruiting team projects.

What You Have (Skills) :

• Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.

• Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds Acquisition experience in energy utilities power or automotive preferred.

• Candidate Screening: Knowledge of techniques methods and processes of candidate screening; ability to preselect suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.

• Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards processes techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify select retain and relocate qualified personnel both internally and externally for a wide range of positions.

• Workforce Analytics : Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.

• Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Top candidates will also have:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent working experience

• Experience recruiting especially for Caterpillar s tudents & graduates talent

• Knowledge or experience with Commercial programs or other student & graduate programs

• Experience finding common ground and reaching mutually beneficial agreements while communicating to interna and external customers at various levels in the organization

• Desire to be seen as a SME for commercial students & graduates while driving innovative strategic solutions for hiring talent

• Previous experience driving intern conversions as a best practice pipeline for full - time entry - level positions

• Experience collaborat ing and communicating across the complex matrix organizations for the betterment of the company to drive Caterpillar as an employer of choice for students & graduates

• K nowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organizations vision structure culture philosophy operating principles values and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

• Experience identifying problems analyzing information and implementing solutions

• Familiarity in Workday- specifically as a recruiter .

• Experience adapting to changing circumstances and working effectively in a dynamic environment .

• Comfortable working without direct supervision .

• Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills .

Additional Information:

• This position is ideally located in Peoria IL or Dallas TX. W ill additionally consider locations in which we have larger commercial students & graduates presence .

• Relocation is not offered.

• Travel up to 50% especially during peak recruiting times. (Peak Times are January- March; May; August October) .

Summary Pay Range:

$95640.00 - $143520.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
