Note: This position is best suited for clinicians who want to grow within a group practice. Those actively building a separate private practice are unlikely to feel aligned.
Position Overview
- Fully licensed therapist (PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Trauma-focused clinical work
- Start part-time (10-15 client hours/week) with the option to grow to full-time
- Hybrid role: in-person sessions in Naperville + remote work
- Adult individual therapy (primary)
Compensation (Independent Contractor)
We offer transparent, predictable pay , strong clinical support, and steady referrals.
Growth & Stability: Our clinicians typically fill to their desired caseload within 2-4 months . As the practice grows, there are opportunities for rate increases, leadership roles, and expanded responsibilities based on tenure, contribution, and interest.
Master’s-Level Clinicians
- $50 per clinical hour
- Part-Time (10-15 hrs/week): $24,000–$36,000 annually
- Full-Time (20-25 hrs/week): $48,000–$60,000 annually
Doctoral-Level Clinicians
- $65 per clinical hour
- Part-Time (10-15 hrs/week): $31,200–$46,800 annually
- Full-Time (20-25 hrs/week): $62,400–$78,000 annually
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Provide individual therapy to a thoughtfully matched caseload
- Maintain timely documentation (within 24 hours)
- Respond to client messages within one business day
- Participate in:
- Weekly individual supervision
- Biweekly team consultation meetings
- Coordinate care with other providers when appropriate
- Engage in occasional marketing or networking efforts
Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed in Illinois (PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT) by start date
- Strong clinical experience with trauma
- Alignment with our values of social justice and anti-oppression
- Interest in long-term work within a group practice
- Comfort with telehealth and access to a private workspace
- Relational, insight-oriented clinical approach
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Training or interest in one or more of the following:
- Psychodynamic therapy
- EMDR
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- DBT
- Lifespan Integration
- Mindfulness-based approaches
- Feminist, multicultural, and/or interpersonal process orientation

How quickly will my caseload fill? Most clinicians reach their desired caseload within 2-4 months , depending on availability and flexibility.
Is this role sustainable long-term? Yes. We intentionally prioritize sustainable caseloads, strong clinical support, and high-quality client matches over volume.
Do I need to market myself? No. Our admin and leadership team handle referrals, screening, and matching. You may participate in occasional networking or marketing opportunities if desired.
What does supervision look like? You’ll receive weekly individual supervision and participate in biweekly team consultation. We value thoughtful, depth-oriented clinical discussion.
Can I increase my hours over time? Absolutely. Most clinicians start part-time and gradually build toward full-time if desired.
Is there room for growth or leadership? Yes. As the practice grows, clinicians may take on mentorship, consultation, or leadership roles, with opportunities for increased compensation.
