Accounts Payable Specialist

A family owned bar and restaurant supply company that has been in business for over forty years. We are actively recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Duties would include but not limited to:

- Matching receiving

- Match purchase orders to invoices

- Process all utilities, insurance payments, maintenance, etc

- Post all receiving & invoices

- Process check run, ACHS, & manual checks

- Track truck mileage and truck leasing details

- Maintain copies of contracts (leases & services)

- Invoice for warranty repairs for bar washers

- Invoice for contract billbacks (monthly)

- Invoice for flyer billbacks (quarterly)

- Check rebate program

- Send Nesa sales submission (monthly)

- Track –

• o Local (Non Nissco)
• o Flyer Credits
• o Billback credits
• o Rebates (Maintain Spreadsheet)

- Maintain daily spreadsheet of checks clearing the bank and reconcile the bank daily within accounting system

- Enter positive pay checks into bank

- Approve positive pay each day in the bank

- Maintaining check transactions & register

- Cross training in purchasing and assist when needed

- Proficiency in Word and Excel

- Team oriented

- Driven to produce best outcomes for customers and company

- Miscellaneous projects and other tasks as seem fit by management

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
