Field Service Engineers CT
Job Description
Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced CT scanners. They are looking for several Field Service Engineers to grow their US operations. These are permanent, full-time W2 roles with frequent travel.
The ideal candidate willa. have 4-5 years of technical support or a related customer-facing role, with at least 2 years in a technical role in a global company.
b. be willing to travel overseas for system training
c. have an Engineering degree in a relevant area or proven experience in a similar position Advantage:
a. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
b. Willing to work flexible hours as requested to cover continental US time zones.
c. Provide effective service in a timely manner.
d. People person who enjoys customer interaction and getting customers excited about the company solutions.
e. Team player with exceptional communication skills who loves working with people of all kinds. The candidate is expected to:
a. Provide leadership for technical support to the US service teams, including troubleshooting, devising workarounds, and escalating complex investigations of system issues in the field.
b. Lead root cause investigation, troubleshooting, and investigation of field service issues using multiple tools and datasets and by working directly with the Global Service Team for problem resolution.
c. Lead field installation for US sites through on-site and remote support. Provide ongoing installation training and feedback.
d. Train field engineers, both by lectures and hands-on.
e. Support customer complaint handling and be able to record the complaints in the CRM system.
f. Ability to write and provide feedback for technical service instructions.
g. Maintain and constantly improve self-knowledge and system technical knowledge
