Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Associate specializing in Supplier Quality to join our team. Located in Mount Prospect, this role operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday and requires onsite presence. The position focuses on supplier auditing, quality agreements, and managing supplier SCARs/NCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier auditing and quality assessments.

• Execute tasks related to supplier SCARs and non-conformances.

• Manage change controls as necessary.

• Assist the batch release team by reviewing batches when required.

• Undertake any additional quality assurance tasks as designated by the Director.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SOPs, corrective action, and quality assurance processes.

• Experience with CAPA, investigations, NCR, and SCAR.

• Knowledge of supplier quality assurance, auditing, and agreements.

• Familiarity with sciences, document control, change control, and pharmaceutical standards.

• Understanding of GMP and FDA guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Biology.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on supplier quality and audit-based work.

• At least 1 year of experience with change control and risk assessment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent customer relation skills for managing quality issues and audits.

Work Environment

Join a dynamic Quality Assurance team within a Pharma/antiseptic solutions manufacturer. The office is located across from the original manufacturing site and is newly acquired to support continued growth. You will work in a brand-new office with your own cubicle. The company follows FDA and GMP guidelines and offers opportunities for career growth. Hours are 8am-4pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
