Assistant Manager

At Huntington Learning Center, we are a leader in the educational service industry. Since 1977, we have provided core learning essentials: reading, writing, math (STEM in general) and specific areas of tutor support. We work hand-in-hand with the teachers of K through 12, to help students at all levels achieve their objectives. We also help students prep for ACT/SAT exams.
For success as an Assistant Center Director, we are looking for:
- Must have your Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited college.
- Entry Level opportunity - Looking for 1+ year of Management, Customer Service, Sales or Education experience preferred.
- An enthusiastic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality.
- Motivation to take the initiative to ensure that a student’s time at Huntington is memorable.
- Outstanding communication skills are a must.
- A confident and flexible demeanor.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of self-motivation.
- Reliable transportation.

The Center Supervisor responsibilities include:
- Supervisory experience preferred - We have an extensive training program for you to be successful!
- Monitor the Center's daily activity. Manage front-end administrative office.
- Hire, train, schedule and supervise part-time teachers.
- Review student programs and ensure academic achievement - Instruct students.
- Participate in local marketing activities to help grow the business.
- Conducting monthly follow-up parent conferences.
- Meeting regularly with schoolteachers and guidance counselors on behalf of Huntington students.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and making alterations to individual student programs as required.
- Participating in local community and school-based marketing initiatives.
- Administering initial evaluations and assisting new students.
Requirements:
- A love for children and education.
- Ability to pass background check.
- BS/BA from an Accredited College/University.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility with Schedule.
Summer Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm | Friday 830am to 230pm.
Fall/Winter: Monday thru Thursday 1130am to 8pm | Saturday 830am to 330pm.
