Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, dependable CDL Drivers for tractor-trailer opportunities based in Illiopolis, IL and serving routes throughout the Central and Eastern United States.

Equipment amp; Freight

We are interested in drivers with experience operating commercial tractor-trailer equipment, including:

• Dry Van Trailers
• Refrigerated / Reefer Trailers
• Flatbed Trailers
• Step Deck Trailers
• Specialized Tractor-Trailer Equipment
• Other heavy commercial tractor-trailer configurations

Load types and freight requirements may vary by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and applicable safety standards.
• Transport various types of freight based on available loads and customer requirements.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally regarding pickups, deliveries, scheduling, delays, and route changes.
• Properly secure and protect freight when required.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, dispatchers, and transportation partners.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license appropriate for tractor-trailer operation.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating large commercial tractor-trailer equipment.
• Strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Dependable, professional, and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to handle different types of loads and routes based on experience and qualifications.

Drivers with experience in dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, regional, OTR, dedicated, and specialized freight are encouraged to apply.

Primary Location: Illiopolis, IL, US

Routes may extend throughout the Central and Eastern United States, including the Midwest and East Coast.

Available routes may include:

• Regional routes

Route assignments may vary based on available opportunities, driver qualifications, and individual preferences.
