Compensation: $86,000-$124,900 (Target midpoint of $105,800 depending on experience level) base + bonus potential (6-10%)

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a ServiceNow Data/Platform Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology Solutions department at a leading financial services organization. As a key member of the ServiceNow Product Team, you will contribute across all phases of the technology delivery lifecycle, with a primary focus on data management, platform configuration, and process automation.In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to drive platform adoption, improve data integrity, and implement best practices in ServiceNow development. This is a hands-on engineering position—requiring strong technical expertise in ServiceNow modules, scripting, data integration, and platform operations—combined with a solution-oriented mindset that drives continuous improvement in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

What You Will Be Accountable For
- Performing data management and cleanup activities, including imports, direct updates, and normalization to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting CMDB and CSDM 4.0+ development, monitoring, and data quality.
- Contributing to ServiceNow module implementations (ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, SecOps, GRC/IRM).
- Developing and supporting scripting, workflows, and automation within the platform.
- Assisting with debugging and production support, troubleshooting application and system issues.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring technologies across enterprise platforms.
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies (standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).
- Driving continuous improvement efforts to reduce time-to-market while improving quality and transparency.
- Educating peers and business stakeholders on ServiceNow platform development best practices.
What Qualifications You Need
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of IT, development, and system administration experience.
- Industry certifications strongly preferred:
- 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience (ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, SecOps, GRC/IRM).
- 3+ years of JavaScript or equivalent, data management, and hands-on cloud platform experience.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON integrations.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM 4.0+ frameworks.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, bug-free code.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps practices.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and systems design.
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL, ServiceNow Administrator/Developer, CISA, or similar.
