General Laborer – TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT UNTIL FEBRUARY 27, 2026

$21.00 per hour
1st Shift | 7:30 AM -3:30 PM | Monday–Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to assist with daily operations in Dekalb, IL. This position involves performing a variety of general manual labor tasks to support field operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and gaining hands-on experience in landfill operations and environmental services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials
• Assist with site maintenance and cleanup as directed
• Operate hand tools and light equipment safely
• Support field operations and follow all site safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by site supervisors

Requirements

• No prior experience required — training provided
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must wear appropriate work clothing and footwear (steel-toe boots recommended)

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
• Shift: 1st Shift | 7:30am-3:30pm
• Days: Monday – Friday
• Location: DEKALB Illinois 60115
