Precision Manufacturing Equipment Operator
Step Into the Heart of Production
At our state-of-the-art Collinsville, IL facility, precision and quality are more than goals—they’re how we work every day. As a Precision Manufacturing Equipment Operator, you’ll keep critical machinery running at peak performance in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
A Day in the Life
You arrive, review the production plan, and run your pre-start checks. Throughout the shift, you’ll operate and monitor multiple machines, watch performance indicators, and adjust settings to keep output on spec. When a minor issue pops up, you troubleshoot quickly to minimize downtime. Finished products pass through your inspections for accuracy and quality before moving on. You keep the area clean, organized, and safe—then capture production data, flag concerns to your supervisor, and huddle with teammates to hit daily targets. You’ll also join training sessions to sharpen your technical skills.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and continuously monitor various production machines for optimal throughput and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and basic troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
- Inspect completed parts and verify they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a tidy, well-organized workstation and follow all safety procedures.
- Accurately document production metrics and promptly report issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand your capabilities.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED (technical certification a plus).
- Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime when required.
Why This Role
If you take pride in precision, thrive in a rapid production setting, and want to grow alongside a supportive team, this role puts you at the center of making great products—safely, efficiently, and consistently.
