Compensation: $25 – $40 per hour

Your Day

You start by reviewing the maintenance schedule and alerts from overnight runs. A packaging lane needs a quick adjustment, a cooker demands a sensor check, and later in the day you’ll assist with a new equipment install. You move confidently from mechanical to electrical, then to pneumatic and hydraulic diagnostics. By afternoon, you’re diving into a PLC routine on an Allen‑Bradley platform, verifying signals and I/O to bring a stubborn conveyor back into spec. Before shift-end, you button up preventive maintenance on a refrigeration component and verify GMP and SQF/HACCP compliance after wash-down.

• Keep complex, automated production assets running with minimal downtime.
• Support installation and integration of new systems into existing lines.
• Elevate reliability across processing, thermal equipment (ovens, cookers), chilling, and packaging operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on food processing, cooking, chilling, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose issues spanning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced setting.
• Work with PLC-driven equipment; experience with Allen‑Bradley is a strong plus.
• Maintain and service industrial refrigeration and thermal processing systems.
• Collaborate closely with a skilled maintenance team and support personnel.
• Uphold GMP and SQF/HACCP standards and follow all safety procedures in a wash-down environment.

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficiency across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair.
• Ability to work independently, learn site-specific processes, and contribute as a mid-to-senior level technician.
