Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will work on food packaging equipment such as mixers and pouchers. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs and work in the control room with PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs in the control room.
• Handle electrical tasks including board controls, PLC troubleshooting, and drives.
• Manage mechanical tasks such as hydraulics, pneumatics, servos, machining, and welding.

Essential Skills

• Electrical and mechanical expertise.
• PLC troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with motor controls and VFDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC programming knowledge.
• Experience in a food industry environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a food/GMP setting that is very clean, although it can get a bit messy on the machines due to sauce production. Employees are provided with uniforms. Night Shift (4pm - 4am Monday - Thursday),

This is a Permanent position based out of Broadview, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
