Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a 30-bed unit, including 27 medical beds and 3 ED Psych beds. This facility sees an average of 120 patients per day, offering you the chance to utilize your skills in a busy and rewarding setting. You will work alongside a dedicated team, using the Allscripts charting system, and contribute to a full treatment center for sexual assault survivors.

• Provide exceptional care in a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Utilize POD nursing for assignments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Allscripts
• Support patients and families with empathy and professionalism

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• At least 1 year of ER RN experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work night and mid shifts
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
