Contract Analyst

A leading national law firm recognized for its innovation and commitment to client service is seeking a Contract Analyst to join its growing contract review team. This is a high-impact role supporting attorneys and clients in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts—while also contributing to process improvements and legal tech initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Review a high volume of contracts for accuracy, legal compliance, and alignment with client guidelines
• Suggest edits and alternative language to meet legal standards and client expectations
• Compare documents to precedent templates and manage redlines
• Communicate directly with clients and third parties to explain and negotiate contract revisions
• Track multiple contract review projects, prioritize deadlines, and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain organized documentation and project records in shared repositories
• Collaborate with the Practice Innovations team to improve workflows and tech tools
• Assist in onboarding and training new contract analysts
• Continuously contribute ideas for enhancing review processes and templates

What You’ll Need:

• JD with at least 1 year of professional experience OR 3+ years of experience in a professional/legal setting
• Licensed attorneys strongly encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in contract review, legal operations, or law firm/in-house legal work highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document comparison tools, and familiarity with legal tech systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet tight deadlines
• Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for client service and continuous learning

Compensation: $70,000–$80,000
