Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to oversee and manage various surveying projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating with teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee surveying projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Supervise field survey teams and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards for surveying.
• Prepare project budgets, proposals, and schedules.
• Conduct boundary calculations and create plats for various survey types.
• Review and analyze public records for project-related information.
• Utilize surveying software and technology such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and Trimble GPS.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in IL.
• 10+ years experience in managing surveying projects.
• Knowledge of boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.
• Strong understanding of IDOT regulations and procedures.
• Experience with budget management and proposal writing.
• Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
