Pay: $2,398 per week
Shift Information: Evenings - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
About the Position
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and timely care to patients in a Level II Trauma Emergency Department.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support interventions as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (EPIC).
- Support hospital float needs across designated UnityPoint campuses as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years recent ED experience – Required
- Licensure: Active IL RN license at submission (Compact accepted)
- If IA license not active, proof of application required before start
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, MOAB (can be obtained during onboarding)
- COVID-19: Vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Local Policy: No travelers residing within 60 miles
