Elementary Principal
CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Elementary Principal at Ferson Creek Elementary for the 2026 - 2027 SY. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Salary range ( without TRS ): $115,000.00 -$144,000.00. See job description attached.
The principal will provide leadership and administration which will motivate instructional and support personnel to strive for superior performance so as to provide the best possible opportunities for student growth and development, both educationally and personally.
Under general supervision, the principal leads the organization, safety, supervision, and educational leadership of the school. The primary purpose of the principal is to improve instruction and spend a majority of time on curriculum and staff development (105 ILCS 5/10-21.4a).
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- General Administrative Endorsement(s)
- Successful completion of State proficiency exams
