Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on overnight shifts. This position requires strong expertise in clinical pharmacy practices within a hospital setting and offers a 13-week contract assignment starting mid-June.
Responsibilities include:
- Checking and verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
- Reviewing and verifying intravenous (IV) admixtures to meet clinical standards
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system
- Ability to manage typical inpatient pharmacy duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong communication and supervisory skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Overnight shift, 4x10-hour shifts weekly
- 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
