Analyst, Fund Admin HFS

Role Summary
The Analyst is an entry-level position designed for recent college graduates interested in building a career in fund accounting and financial services. The role supports the Investor Accounting team at a global hedge fund administrator and provides exposure to hedge fund and private equity accounting, investor allocations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly investor allocations
- Support management fee and performance fee calculations
- Assist with preparation of investor statements
- Support year-end financial reporting and audit support
- Review fund documents to understand fund structures
- Assist with fund onboardings and system setup
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship experience in accounting or finance
- Interest in pursuing CPA or other professional certifications
Salary Range:
$48,000 - 72,000 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
